This is an authentic bourbon whiskey barrel head that has been laser engraved with a quote by one of the best ambassadors in the Bourbon industry. Mr. Freddie Johnson is a storyteller extraordinaire and Head Tour Guide at the world famous Buffalo Trace distillery. This quote was featured in the very entertaining Bourbon documentary, "Neat." The barrel head has been sanded, stained, and clear-coated on the front and sanded and painted black on the back. Be cautious of other barrel head signs you see on Etsy that don't take the time to sand or seal the backs of the signs. Bourbon barrel heads are charred on the back side so they will make a mess of things if the back is not properly prepared. A metal D ring hanger is also installed on the back of the sign. Different finishes are available if you would like the sign in a different wood toned color. We can go completely natural, cherry, darker brown and anywhere in between.
